West Down Community Shop

Our fantastic village shop provides a wide range of general groceries and you will find lots of local produce too. Freshly made bread, pastries, pasties and pies; locally  sourced meats, fruit and vegetables; as well as a range of wines, spirits and local beers and other essentials.

The Crown Inn

The Crown Inn is a traditional 17th century freehouse set in the heart of our village.

Why not relax in the friendly atmosphere and enjoy a meal from a  varied menu or specials board and a drink by the cosy fire or in the delightful garden.

Mobile Fish and Chip Van

The van comes to the village square every Monday from 5pm – 7pm. All you have to do is turn up, order & takeaway.

Community Field

The community field is a two minute walk from the site, where you can enjoy a picnic, outside games and  children can play on the swings and climbing frame.

There maybe restrictions on use of play equipment due to the Coronavirus situation.

There are plenty of local walks from the village from which you can enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside.
